Prior to joining California Forward Caroline served as District Director for Assembly member Pedro Nava, representing Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties.

Caroline has over six years of intimate knowledge of the legislative process and constituent assistance including interning for Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante’s CA Commission for Economic Development.  Caroline has also been active with the Junior League of Santa Barbara assisting fundraising efforts to renovate the Downtown Santa Barbara Library’s children’s floor and conducting an annual blood drive and bone marrow registry event.

Caroline received a bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara in political science and history where she volunteered for Planned Parenthood and taught tennis to youths.
