Coalitions Director (San Francisco, Los Angeles or Sacramento office)

California Forward seeks a Coalitions Director to play a central role in a major civic engagement project in 2010-2011. Research Director (San Francisco or Sacramento office)

California Forward seeks a Research Director with an extensive understanding of California public policy and services and a passion for developing and using qualitative and quantitative data to guide public deliberations on ways to improve state governance. The Research Director reports to the Executive Director and will be based in either the Sacramento or San Francisco, CA office. Communications Specialist (Los Angeles office)

California Governance Intern (San Francisco office)

The California Governance Intern provides assistance with a variety of activities, including researching issues, drafting background memos, and assisting in general administrative duties.  Individualized projects may be developed and pursued in consultation with the policy director.  Undergraduates or recent graduates are encouraged to apply.  We are looking for people who write well, who are skilled at conducting Internet research, and who are excited about this subject matter. The required time commitment is somewhat flexible depending upon availability, but should be a minimum of 10-12 hours per week. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
